About MERSA ScaleClean Multi-Appliance Descaler Powder
Keep your everyday home appliances running efficiently with MERSA
ScaleClean - an environment-friendly descaler-cum-muck cleaner that
removes limescale, hard water deposits, and built-up grime from your
washing machine, dishwasher, steam iron, and coffee maker.
Pack of 3 x 100g sachets - enough for multiple cleaning cycles across
different appliances in your home.
How to Use:
Washing Machine: For Front Loading machines, empty the full packet
into the main wash chamber when dry. For Top Loading machines, empty
the packet into the wash tub after filling water, before starting the
wash cycle - without clothes. Run the machine till finish, then switch
off, clean and refit the fluff filter. Wait 40 minutes before normal
washing on the same day.
Dish Washer: Put 4 spoonfuls of cleaner into the powder dispenser and
run the machine without any dishes. Wait 30 minutes before normal
dishwashing on the same day.
Steam Iron: Dissolve 1 spoonful of cleaner powder in 50ml warm water.
Pour into the iron's water chamber, set to steam mode, and leave the
iron unplugged. Place face-down in an empty plastic bowl to drain
through the steam holes. Gently shake until solution drains, briefly
pump the spray button, then rinse thoroughly with cold water and dry.
Coffee Maker: Mix half the packet contents in 1 litre of water, pour
into the water reservoir, and assemble without a filter. Run as for
coffee making, boiling through about half the solution. Switch off,
wait 10 minutes, then boil through the rest and discard. Boil through
twice more with clean water before regular use.
Safety Warning: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with
eyes. If cleaner powder comes in contact with eyes, wash immediately
with running cold water and contact a doctor if irritation continues.
